What this site collects, why it is needed and who handles it.

Visiting the site

The site uses Google Analytics to count visits: which pages are read, how people found the site, and roughly where and on what kind of device. Google Analytics sets its own cookies (named _ga) to tell a return visit from a new one, and Google processes that data on Beckstars’ behalf. Beckstars looks only at totals, does not use it for advertising, and does not try to identify you from it. You can block it with a content blocker or Google’s opt-out add-on, and the site works the same without it. Google explains how it uses this data here. There are no other cookies, advertising or tracking scripts.

The site is hosted by Vercel. Like other web hosts, Vercel may process technical request and diagnostic information such as an IP address, requested page, date and time, referring page, browser or device information, approximate location derived from network data, and performance or security events. Beckstars uses hosting logs to secure and operate the site, not to profile visitors. Vercel explains its processing here.

The AI Review form

If you send the form, it collects what you pick and type: your type of business, the name of your business or team, your website, up to three areas you want to look at, how much you use AI, your team size and your timeline, and your name, email and phone. It is emailed to Brendon Bellerose at brendon@beckstars.com using Resend, an email delivery service, and is used to reply to you, prepare your AI Review and, only if you ask, a quote, and nothing else. It is not stored in a database on this site, added to a mailing list or sold. It is disclosed only to the email providers needed to deliver and answer the enquiry.

Emailing brendon@beckstars.com directly works the same way.

The AI Review itself is a short screen share. You choose what to show on your own screen, and a made-up example works too. No password or login is ever asked for, nothing in your tools is changed, and we keep only the notes needed to write your short written summary.

If you do not become a customer, your email is kept only as long as a normal business correspondence record, and deleted sooner if you ask.

If you go ahead with an AI Work Plan or other work, what we handle, who else processes it and what happens to it at the end are set out in your written agreement. Beckstars does not sell your information.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or make a privacy complaint by writing to brendon@beckstars.com. You will get an answer by the next business day. Beckstars is based in Toronto, Ontario; applicable privacy obligations and the signed customer agreement govern how a request is handled.
